Since 1992, when David Briggs became the new owner, we have grown from a small company specializing in barbecues and clambakes to a full-service catering company trusted by the region’s most prominent venues.

We’ve put food on planes, trains, and boats and served guests at museums, in historic estates, on rooftops, and at unique venues across Massachusetts.

David Briggs

President & CEO

With deep roots in catering sales and operations, David has transformed Boston Catering & Events from a small local business into one of the region’s premier catering operations. Under his direction, BCE has earned recognition as one of Boston Business Journal’s Fast 50 companies, as well as Couples' Choice Awards from WeddingWire and The Knot. David remains actively involved in the day-to-day, often delivering orders himself to ensure every client receives the high-touch service and quality that define the BCE standard.
