Meet Darcy Eidle!
Darcy is the creative vision behind many of our events, especially weddings. She creates innovative events for each client, constantly searching for a new spin or fresh approach while attending to every detail the client requests.
While earning her Hospitality and Event Management degree from Endicott College, Darcy learned all about managing events by interning here with us at Boston Catering and Events. We were thrilled when she later decided to stay on with us full time after graduation. Since then Darcy has run numerous events and has become our wedding expert. Here’s Darcy’s take on why she loves working with couples on their wedding:
“When I was younger, I was obsessed with watching the wedding shows on TLC and thought it would be so cool to be a wedding planner. However, it wasn't something I thought you could make a full-time career out of. That was until I went on a college tour at Endicott College and I realized they had a Hospitality major with a concentration specific to event planning! After seeing that, I made the decision to enrolled in the hospitality/event management major and the rest is history! I knew this was what I was supposed to do and loved my three wedding planning internships, and fun courses, like culinary and wine tasting. All of this gave me a great start to my dream career!
I love how fun it is to create a unique vision for each of my couples. No two weddings are ever alike! This past year alone, our design team and I have created a dinosaur themed wedding buffet (you need to check out this video), a Viking themed wedding menu, and a wedding planned entirely around the tide schedule on a private island. I love that my job is always exciting and there’s never a dull moment!
My best advice to any bride and groom is to enjoy their special day and not stress about the small things! It is always so rewarding talking with a couple after the wedding. When I hear that they actually got to enjoy their day with family and friends because they knew they were in great hands working with me and my team, it makes my day!” - Darcy
Throughout the wedding planning process, Darcy works closely with each couple. From the initial contact, to the detailed planning, and through the day of the wedding, Darcy is there for each one of her couples. Every wedding menu is carefully planned out and customized with the couples’ overall vision in mind. The season of the wedding is also considered to allow for the freshest ingredients to be served. Darcy will look at the venue layout, equipment, and regulations to ensure that the wedding day runs as smoothly as possible.
Each wedding is as unique as each couple, so creating the couple’s wedding vision is the most important part in making their special day perfect! In addition to creating the menu and atmosphere, Darcy also handles rental orders, liquor orders, floor plans, and timelines. Getting all their wedding needs through one vendor means less stress!

My husband and I worked with Darcy for our fall wedding at the Lyman Estate. I cannot recommend Darcy and her team at BCE enough!!! First, the people we worked with at BCE were professional, responsive to email/calls, and always came prepared to meetings with floor plans, draft invoices, wedding schedule, etc. Second, the food they prepared at the tasting was DELICIOUS and tasted exactly like the food we tasted on the wedding night. We got many compliments from our guests that it didn’t taste like “typical wedding food” and instead was truly a yummy meal they could enjoy! Working with Darcy and her team at BCE to throw our wedding made it an absolute dream. BCE was extremely flexible to our ideas and limitations and worked with us to help throw the event WE wanted. I can’t stress the flexibility enough. Where other vendors wanted to add surcharge after surcharge BCE was able to work with us to throw the wedding WE wanted on OUR budget. Darcy was so on top of things that my wife and I never had any worries about how the event would go… ”
