Gore Place is an historic mansion located in Waltham, MA that was once owned by Massachusetts Governor and Senator, Christopher Gore and his wife at the turn of the 19th century. They were prominent members of Boston society, gave elegant parties for their contemporaries, and hosted notable guests including President James Monroe and Daniel Webster. It sits on 50 acres of manicured lawns, farm land, and gardens.
Gore Place rentals include the Carriage House, Mansion, and Tents on the grounds for up to 225 from May-October. Smaller events can use the interior during the colder months.
T he Larz Anderson Auto Museum offers a unique and historic setting for your next event! Guests are sure to have an unforgettable experience in the stunning main gallery of the Museum amidst breathtaking vintage automobiles. The Museum features vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and brick.
The Museum can accommodate up to 150 people inside and the Great Lawn of the Museum - located in the center of the majestic Larz Anderson Park - can be tented year-round to accommodate larger parties of up to 500.
DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, MA is located on the former estate of Julian and Elizabeth “Lizzie” de Cordova (1851-1945). DeCordova Sculpture Park and Museum augmented its position as the region's foremost presenter of modern and contemporary sculpture by adopting an ambitious program of expansion and continuous renewal. Today, the Sculpture Park encompasses 30 acres of beautiful rolling woodlands and lawns, and is the largest park of its kind in New England.
The Dewey Family Gallery /Sculpture Park Terrace, the Rappaport Roof Terrace , the Denormandie Library , and the Sculpture Park are all available for rentals with space for 25-200+ people.
